# In time: the whole journey (transcript)

A four-chapter film following one child's SEND journey through the real,
working EdPsych Connect platform. Narrated by the founder (his own certified
voice); Jamie's words are carried in his mother's voice, never a synthesised
child voice. Every platform screen shown is the real product on Jamie's
seeded demonstration record. This transcript is derived from the same script
source as the narration and captions
(docs/video-scripts/deep-dive-narration-tts.md), so the three cannot drift.

## Chapter one: Noticing

**Narrator:** Most stories about special educational needs begin with a fight. This one is different. And the difference is worth four minutes of your time.

**Jamie's words, in his mother's voice:** He likes maps. And the names of rivers. And being left alone, when it is loud.

**Narrator:** This is Jamie. He is eleven. He is autistic. And he is, in his mother's words, the kindest boy she knows.

**Narrator:** One morning in Year Four, the noise of the classroom became too much, and Jamie could not say so. Families know what starts here. The wait. Where children learn to fail first, before the system helps.

**Narrator:** This time, someone noticed early. His teacher did not wait for a diagnosis to shape the lesson. The platform had already learned how Jamie learns, and it kept learning.

**Narrator:** When a quiet daily check-in showed a wobble, it was seen. Not months later. That week.

## Chapter two: The team around him

## Chapter three: The statutory road, honestly

**Narrator:** When Jamie did need an Education, Health and Care plan, the evidence was already gathered. The plan was a summary of what everyone already knew. Not a battle.

**Narrator:** The law gives this road twenty weeks, end to end. Twenty weeks is the legal limit. It is not the experience most families report. So the platform shows the clock honestly. Stage by stage. Deadline by deadline. Before anything slips.

**Narrator:** And if a decision goes the wrong way, the road does not end. Mediation, with its own clock. A tribunal, with the evidence already in order. Prepared families are not powerless families.

## Chapter four: Thriving, and reviewed

**Narrator:** Jamie is in Year Eight now. He is thriving. The plan works, because the help came in time.

**Maya:** For the first time, I was not the only one holding all of it. I could see it. I was in it.

**Narrator:** Every year, the plan is reviewed against what actually happened. Not filed. Reviewed. And when Jamie moves schools, his record moves with him. The deadline for updating his plan is tracked to the day.
